Currently the editor of a weekly newspaper covering the Setauket and Stony Brook area on Long Island. She began her writing career as a columnist for a teen magazine, and for more than a decade, was a product copywriter for a major retailer's website.

A writer in some sort for as long as she can remember; she has had a variety of roles across a variety of industries. In college she was a writer and editor for the Daily Collegian at UMass, Amherst. After graduating she worked briefly at the Connecticut Jewish Ledger and then spent time as a staff writer at Gatehouse Media and Buzz Newspapers. Leaving behind journalism, she moved into marketing and has worked in financial services, IT, and Senior Living.
